Yea one thing I forgot to mention is that I would be on ANA Airlines Business class from NRT-MNL (#NH819). For such a short flight it wouldn't matter to me if it was reclined or flat bed seats. Only thing is, UA booking site doesn't allow seat assignments for ANA flights.. am I able to do that in ORD before boarding? Or do I have to do that upon arrival at NRT?

Looks like I'm leaning more and more toward that route so far..

You can get advance seating assignments from ANA. Using your UA Conf number in the ANA 'My Bookings' tab and follow the directions. I did this last week and received an ANA tracking number and seat assignment.
My Itn is PHL / LAX / HNL / NRT / MNL. The NRT / MNL segment is ANA.
