So hoping someone here can shed some light on a confusing problem...
I flew Etihad roundtrip from SFO-AUH-ISB-AUH-CDG (san fran to islamabad via abu dhabi, then back via abu dhabi to paris - in case i screwed up the codes...) in paid business back in mid june. I gave my American frequent flyer # at the time of booking and at checkin.
I received miles for every segment EXCEPT SFO-AUH.
So i emailed in my boarding passes and receipt - and was rejected by American. But on their website, they clearly state:
Beginning May 1, 2015, travel between North America and Abu Dhabi (AUH) on Etihad Airways operated and marketed flights are also eligible for AAdvantage base mile accrual.
My travel was in June 2015, so i'm puzzled as to why it was rejected (particularly since they had no trouble crediting every other leg...).
Thoughts?
