I frequently drive through Albany between New Jersey and Vermont. I, too, frequent the 10+ restaurants on Wolf Road. Access from I-87 is excellent, since the commercial stretch of Wolf Road has Interstate entrances/exits at both ends. The main downtown street in Saratoga, about 30 miles north of Albany on I-87, has more interesting restaurants.
