I wouldn't give up just because one agent told you they couldn't do it. Try again, it never hurts to keep going if you know someone else has done it. If you get stuck ask to be transferred to a new account specialist. My charge posted on my Aviator card this morning and my account fully funded. I'll call again and again...
In the meantime, does anyone have a fax authorization form and fax number to try? I saw one on the Doctor of Credit blog but the Citibank employee I opened the account with didn't recognize the form and suggested I don't try it unless I know the source.
