After a longtime enjoying all trip reports on this forum, I decided to have a try at joining in on the fun.

Bear with me, as this is a first try, so I might not yet be up-to the level of some other reporters on here.

All photos were taken with my Iphone 6plus (no professional camera) and sometimes I simply forgot to take pictures.

This trip was made to join my family who travelled through Cambodia, but went beaching on Koh Chang Thailand.

All flights and hotels were booked one month prior to departure.

As I wanted to fly business class to Bangkok and wanted to add some more miles to my miles&more account, I obviously looked for fares within star alliance.

This resulted in two possibilities which were affordable for the dates I wanted to fly. It would either be Turkish Airlines with a transfer in Istanbul, or Austrian Airlines with a transfer in Vienna.

Eventually I decided on Austrian, as the flight times suited me better, and as they have the throne seats, which have no seat mate.
