This one is an easy one. You are discharged into the general airport area so you will have no trouble getting to the transit hotel. It is a 5-7 minute walk, tops, between terminals in an air conditioned walk way. Or you can take a shuttle tram like they have in Las Vegas. You check in at one of the transit counters. This one will be no problem at all.

Don't know the answer to your first question (but my guess is no).
