Need some information on use of the transit hotel at the Singapore Airport. Read the information on the airport's web page, need to know if one can check in (with Singapore Airlines) the night prior to a morning flight, stay in the transit hotel, and then go straight to the flight in the morning.

Also will be doing an overnight connection there from SQ to UA, any problems getting from an arriving flight in T2 to the transit hotel in T1…guess I need to know if arriving passengers are discharged in to the general departures part of the terminal or if they are segregated and forced to customs. Will likely not be able to obtain a UA boarding pass until morning.
