HELP. Award confirmed but not ticketed?

I would really appreciate some help. I booked a MileagePlus Award online six months ago on Lufthansa with the following routing: PVG-FRA-MAD.

About two weeks ago I changed the award reservation online to PVG-ZRH-MAD on LX. I was able to get the LX confirmation number so I thought I was good to go. I called LX today and they claim that my ticket is confirmed but that United has not issued the ticket.

When I look at the reservation online it shows that the award reservation was ticketed six months ago and not re-ticketed two weeks ago when I made the change to my award online.

I've talked to three UA agents and all assure me that the ticket is fine. I've asked to speak to a supervisor and I've been on hold for over two hours. I had a similar issue about a year ago on a LH award ticket which was confirmed and never re-ticked and I ended up nearly missing my flight while LH had to deal with UA.

Is there any number I can call to escalate the situation? I can't seem to get a hold of anyone remotely competent at United.
