I fell for the old upgradable ticket ploy for the HNL-ATL flight. Many moons ago I paid quite a bit more for these tickets, advised by the savvy sales agent that we were first on the upgrade list! Wow, I thought, what a deal, but of course I knew it was not guaranteed.

Yesterday at the sky club I learned about the priority for paid upgrades and Global upgrade certificates. OK, fair enough, lesson learned, never fall for that trick again, etc.

When this flight credits our accounts, we should have about 20-25K miles each for future use, and no DL charts or runes to consult for using them.

Please suggest a best use for them, maybe an upgrade to J on an off season flight to Europe next year or so, or a domestic ticket. We could find a way to add miles to each account and bring it to 25K or 30K if necessary.
