I've spent substantial periods in the FLounge on more than one occasion without any issue.

Even if my flight is at 1800, it works for me to drop my Avis car back to T5 then to go through in time to be online for 0830. I get almost a full day's work done in a perfectly pleasant environment and (most importantly for me) only have to rely on my legs to get me to the gate on time...
