If you are late into DOH and miss your connection they will put you on the next available flight to your destination.
They did that for me, my plane was delayed due to fog and we reached DOH just as the plane was taking off to DXB. In J class, they sent someone to come get me from plane, give me my new ticket, and take me through security till lounge. I have never been so impressed in my life - I simply just expected my new ticket but they really took care of me.

If this is economy, they won't have the same level of care - but they'll still make sure you're on the next available flight.
