The last time I did that (earlier this summer) and followed the signs to baggage claim and ground transportation, I ended up outside baggage claim near Terminal D/E. In hindsight, since I had no checked luggage, it would have been better if I had exited through Terminal F departures and gotten picked up there.

Not sure what the current construction situation is.
