Thanks. That was a fine trip, and I got to contrast the clapped out A330 out of MAN (wot no touch screen?) with a one hour flight on a state of the art 787 (good grief, those seats are narrow).

Now, timing wise we arrived 10 minutes early into DOH, so no issues there. However, as I got closer to the gate a good forty before the flight was scheduled, it was showing as Last Call. This seems to be a bit of a ruse, used when boarding is by bus (didn't stop me running to the gate though).
