I just called and learned that the lounge is still closed all day Saturday and all day Sunday, but neither the front desk agent who answered the phone nor the assistant manager on duty who said that he was the Front Desk Manager knew anything about the 2500 points. He said that the hotel doesn't offer appetizer or beverage coupons for use downstairs, although the hotel's website seems to suggest that they do this.
