As for me, I always choose 7A on my usual itineraries, because of smaller cabin, and also - and mainly - because it's easier to disembark first from 2L (eventually after FCL pax).

For your second question : try FCL if it is a suite (some 77W are still with Sky Cruisers), and if you judge the cost acceptable. FCL lounge in DXB is worth a visit (although not really breathtaking) as it is calm ... as a real lounge should be in the first place ...
