Have booked two biz Class tix through 1st-Air.net. Both were booked in C Class (not "discounted biz)...and both earned full frequent flyer miles and I even used my UA SWUs to secure F Class seats.

They saved me about US$2000 off an ORD-NRT-PVG-ORD ticket and then about US$1700 off a one-way HKG-ORD flight.

I don't use the website. I e-mail specific itineraries to them with the exact flights and times that I want and then give them all of the parameters to work within. Both times they were able to match my suggested itineraries to the letter AND save me big bucks.

Beware: both times, I found out that my tickets also involved "hidden city" ticketing. The HKG-ORD flight actually continued on to YVR a few days after I got back to Chicago, and the multi-segment ticket above started in YYZ (but on Air Canada, when I was flying the rest of the segments on UA metal).

In both cases, I was NOT able to E-Ticket. That NRT-PVG ticket above was bought in Mexico--in pesos. The HKG-ORD ticket was bought in Canada, obviously in Canadian $'s. Seems that they save money buying tickets in foreign countries somehow.

AND, when I received the physical tickets, all of the Canadian segments were missing...the only way I ever found out about them was because I called the airline directly to reconfirm and upgrade seats.

The verdict: be careful. Everything's not exactly on the up and up, although they do seem to deliver cheap C/F tickets with all of the benefits.
