I'm going last week of November - probably Mon-Wed so I'm guessing not exactly high season yet. Will the little fishing boats you mentioned be running then?

Hard to say - but it'll be the start of school holidays in Brazil, so there's a good chance they'll be running! Perhaps even the bigger schooners, although they're not everyone's cup of tea (think tour bus equivalent). Good plan to go during the week.
