Sent a claim late last night where spg.com showed no availability. The claim was approved earlier today and the conformation would be sent directly from the hotel.
Also, the claim form has changed again. Now you have to choose either you the conformation number, credit card, or none. Maybe the agent was misguided somehow.
I also received the approved claim email rom an agent who is based in the US. Looks like they are back in business.
