Do you think AC actually understands that the ONLY reason to buy a Flex fare (assuming Tango is not sold out) is in order to eUp? And that business travelers were buying these fares out of pocket just to eUp? It seems they see upgrade credits as a cost sink, when it fact they are a revenue generator since having to buy a higher fare for the same class of service is effectively a co-pay on every domestic/TB upgrade - even if you don't end up getting it!
