There's "sooo" many similar/same "business dealings" in the aviation industry that led to Smisek's demise; will there be Federal Probes into those as well? Everything from adding aircraft routes to vendor's greasing palms of local Managers/Directors/VPs.....it's widespread within the industry. Smisek simply didn't buffer himself from this.
What's ironic, all airline companies have their salaried employees sign an "ethics" agreement annually stipulating they will not accept any "gifts" that exceed a monetary value of $50/$75 annually.....
