I did a very similar thing; playing around with dates, I jumped in, feet first, with a little birthday treat trip to KUL and HKG for my birthday, totally forgetting in my merriment that the wedding of a one and only daughter was slap bang in the middle of the trip.

I'd abandon any hope of a change without fee penalty. I asked three times without success.

I've ended up having to slot a KUL-LHR-DUB-LHR-KUL into my original itinerary to avoid WW3.

I suppose a die-hard FT-er would be celebrating the extra tier points opportunity my foolishness created...
