I wouldn't rely on any security accepting a sealed bag from far away (certainly not intercontinentally). Far too much looking for the tiniest damage in the bag and rejecting it, claiming bags from that place are not acceptable, and generally being arbitrary. And there's never any arguing with security people, they can do as they like with rejecting items.
