I've read the entire thread and didn't see this addressed.

The T&Cs indicate that "Sheraton Free Weekend Night Awards must be redeemed for stays consumed by December 13, 2015." The FAQs indicate "A member can redeem Sheraton Free Weekend Nights Awards at any category 1–7 Sheraton, for a standard room through December 13, 2015."

I tried booking an award for a property with standard award availability for the evening of 13 December, and was told that "the last night of the promotion was December 12, 2017 [sic] checking out on th [sic] 13th."

Can a lurker comment if this is correct? I would have expected to be able to redeem an award night for the evening of 13 December. It's odd to me that the promotion that is valid for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evening redemptions would cut off on a Saturday night.

This is certainly disappointing if true. Also, if true, I'd request that SPG be clearer in future T&C and FAQ language, as I've restructured 15 nights of travel to maximize this promotion based on what may turn out to be vague T&C language.
