Not if they had a ticket in F/J (except for medallion upgrades which don't count). In those cases the can SDC onto a flight as long as there's a seat. Thus they never appear on an upgrade or standby list. I use SDC to my advantage lots of times with last minute tickets. Purchase F/J on cheapest routing for my origin/destination and then call right up and ask to SDC onto the flights I want that cost more, saving sometimes hundreds if not thousands of dollars in the process.
