I sat in row 7 going from GLA to DXB and can't say the lack of a window right beside me was of any great loss, there was another one that you could see out of adequately virtually right beside where the missing window would be.

On the DXB to PER flight we were allocated row 6 (ie extra leg room) and TBH I can't say I realised I'd an extra bit of room, the only difference I really noticed was that your screen is on the wall and a bit higher up compared to it being on the back of the seat in front.
