Hi,
I am looking to apply for Amex Business Gold Rewards card and Premier Gold Rewards Card to make best use of the current offers for the signup bonus.

But both these cards are annual fee cards and I have no intentions to pay a annual fee for these cards after the first year.

Does Amex allow downgrading these cards to any other no annual fee cards instead of Cancel ? (Chase allowed me to downgrade my Chase Sapphire Preferred to Chase Freedom)

I am afraid that if I can cancel both the cards simultaneously after a year, my credit score will take a hit.

Recommendations ?
