Travel Medical/Health Insurance for Geriatric Citizens

I know of relatives in their 70s or older, who have stable medical problems - including heart disease and diabetes.

I want a good, but not too expensive, health insurance, for them - which would cover them for complications of such diseases, including (but not limited to) heart attacks (MIs), strokes (CVAs), and cardiac arrhythmias.

The plan is to go to USA for 5+ days, this coming Friday.

(Yes, I know one should ideally obtain travel insurance well in advance, and it may take days or weeks in process such travel insurance).

Options:

a) TD Visa Infinite credit card (companion card to primary cardholder)
b) AMEX Gold (rewards) card - companion card through primary cardholder.
c) CAA
d) other insurance companies, including those who cover geriatric individuals, esp those with stable but chronic medical problems
e) companies covering geriatric individuals?
f) any brokers in this area?

Note - one relative has immigrant status, and she has OHIP coverage.

Main issue- going to USA-if something happens, we want her to be covered.
