Air France is in the IT Dark Ages

Last week while on holiday in the US, I attempted to use AF's US mobile site to check in for my return trip to France. Like you, I am Flying Blue Silver, so I assumed that when I logged in, it would be a breeze. However after multiple attempts it became clear there was a problem...either i would get an error message saying it was too late to check in, or saying it was too early...even though it was about 20 hrs before departure which is within the acceptable window. So i called AF's online support number. To my amazement they informed me that AF offers NO tech support for its mobile site, only the desktop site. The rep I spoke with ssid he could not even log into the mobile site to see what might be wrong. He said the only advice he could offer was that I use a desktop computer (which I did not have with me on holiday). After hanging up I was able to figure out that i could go onto the desktop site from my smartphone to check in...cumbersome, but it worked. But good grief, what decade does AF think we are living in?
