I had two long layovers at Narita when I flew JAL between DFW and Singapore. On the way over we arrived at Narita around 5:30 PM and the flight to Singapore was not until the next afternoon at 1:00, so JAL gave us complimentary rooms and a breakfast buffet at the Nikko Narita. On the way back our flight arrived at 6:00 AM and our onward connection was not until 3:30 PM, so they gave us complimentary Day Rooms. If you are lucky enough to be on JAL, be sure to ask for the complimentary rooms.
