I had this happen earlier this summer. The e-ticket, itinerary, and OLCI BPs all said that it was an HBO ticket. Bought on BA.com in the US and starting in ORD with LHR-MAN included. I had no problem at ORD. The first bag was supposed to be $30 in advance or $100 at the airport.
