A few days from now I'll be in HCMC. It'll be my first time in Vietnam, I'll have one full day free and I know it's rainy at the moment. I'll be staying at the Intercontinental.

Is it best to get on a (private?) tour for the day, so as to be able to fully utilize my time (without having to work everything out myself)? Normally very independent and don't do tours, but given just one day... (Any current recommendations?)

My other thought was that if it's going to be raining a lot maybe I should just readjust my expectations, ditch the tour and go for walks from the hotel as and when the weather improves a bit.
