Every court has a different process and you should call the clerk's office to find out how. It may be as simple as sending a check for a given amount with the request. I would spend the money to obtain multiple copies. Some day you may lose one, be required to show an original and not have it returned or simply spill coffee on it.

As time passes, locating old records becomes harder and harder. Even in courts which have fully electronic docketing, nobody pays attention to old matters and when things go wrong, you can spend forever tracking them down.

You may well need documentation of this for many other purposes, including job applications, licenses and the like. The ability to produce it when asked may make an unpleasant experience less unpleasant.

Bear in mind that there is a vast difference between CBP's determination of your suitability for GE and expungement. The nature of the charge and the reasons for the expungement may matter.
