Well I was on a plane at 6:30 am when this whole thing started. We were actually on 24R engines up ready to go when the pilot came on the PA, telling us we had to get off the runway because of the radar problem. We ended up stuck on the taxiway for an hour and a half.
On my return trip from SJC, I was the first one to board ( already delayed 1 hour) and as I was on top of the stairs, the gate agent called me back "ATC delay, come back!!!" so we were delayed another hour. In the plane the pilot said that the FAA in Washington (???) was giving him one time for the take-off but then OAK center gave him another so they were arguing (???) and had to figure out their differences. I suggested they call Jessie Jackson .

I think someone spilled their venti non-fat cappuccino double shot on the radar console but I can't confirm that.
