There must be more businessmen and businewomen travelling to PEK than to BKK so more people willing to pay directly for the J cabin.

On another note, they sell PEK or BKK for an amazing price for people not starting in HEL. I booked last week a LHR-HEL-PEK-HEL-LHR in the J cabin for GBP 1100 for my wife so that she can join me on a business trip to PEK. In this instance, BA wanted GBP 2300 for Premium Economy. On the inbound she does have to spend one night in HEL. But with a very cheap rate at the Hilton at the airport and the chance to see some friends from graduate school, this is an amazing deal. BKK would have been GBP 1200.
