There is no landside free shuttle between T3->T2. You will need to take a taxi. It is a 10-15 minute drive at that time of night (no traffic) and will cost you about AED 35. T2 is on the opposite side of the runways from T1/T3. All Emirates flights arrive at T3.

T2 landside and airside are both quite dire. Nothing of particular interest to do in either. T2 airside has a miserable Marhaba lounge, but hardly worth the price of entry.

Honestly, there really isn't a better option for you than to pick up the bags, take a taxi and head across to T2. You don't really have time for a hotel - at best you'll get 2 hours there and the hassle of dragging luggage with you probably isn't worth it.

One option may be to book the Marhaba airside transit service. They will sort out your baggage claim and re-check it for you, and also assist with airside transit between T3->T2. I have colleagues who use this regularly when traveling to/from Iraq and Somalia and they speak very highly of it.
