Is AA severely restricting Biz/1st MileSAAver awards or is this simply restricted to the Los Angeles -> Beijing route?

I have searched over the next 12 months and can't find a single such award.

Luckily, FT has educated me to a BA.com search for Cathay flights and wonderfully there are such routes for the great rate of 55,000 AA miles + $55.40. Thank you FTers.

So, are Biz/1st MileSAAver awards being globally removed or is it special for this routing?
