I may not get the difference but I did manage to give this
hotel some well-deserved bad publicity on Expedia reviews.
In response to Papa, this hotel should not be offering "teaser rates"
because there is too much at stake for travelers--if this were a longer
stay reservation and they pulled this crap, and it compromised
my business or livelihood, I'd be pissed and down at the hotel in person
with a bad attitude.Other hotels I discussed this with in the area said
they had a problem with every step of the way--from the cancellation
to the false claim of conferring with Expedia to the two of them
quarreling over responsibility--very sloppy stuff.
