I can only state that as for EWR, there does **seem to be** a smoking area at the far end of the bar, concourse .. uh...dang...the one with Delta and Northwest...thin it's B. Just before gates 40-something to 46-something.

Sorry to be so vague...but there were a lot of people smoking there, but I didn't see any ashtrays. I just joined them and no one said anything. Pleading ignorance here, but I will be able to say what the sitch (situation) is this coming Friday.

And, by the way, while I do smoke, and know it is very bad for my health, I will refrain from telling you to quit. It's your business, and I hope I can help to avoid your having a "nicotine fit."
