Just received an email from [email protected] confirming someone else's upcoming stay at the Hilton Molino Stucky. Name is not similar to mine. I called Hilton and the representative had no idea why I would randomly receive this email. What is concerning I have this persons name, account number, date when he is traveling, etc. The hilton rep gave me his email to confirm that it is not similar to mine which also concerns me that she gave out this information.

Apparently my email and phone number is on this reservation. Other note, I have stayed at this hotel in 2013.

Any ideas how this would happen?

What is also strange is this is the second time this has happened. July 31 I had a similar email from Marriott for a reservation for a complete stranger at the TownPlace Suites in Goldsboro NC. I have never been to this hotel
