BA Search Engine, searching connecting vs. direct flights
Hi,
Saw something curious today doing some searches on BAs reward engine. Flights from HKG-ORD showed no availability but flights from TPE-HKG-ORD showed 3 seats. The TPE-HKG-ORD flight showed availability on the exact HKG-ORD flight that showed unavailable when searched directly.

I hadn't run across this before, and so was a bit surprised. Normally I'll search each segment separately in order to see the full range of options but in this case it missed these seats.

Curious if this is a known issue.
