It's better to get 3 good answers than 140 answers that won't help you.

Pros: Service and quality.
Cons: Food was so-so since it's EX-US. The Seat felt very small because of the walls built up. If you're 6 feet you might find it an bit annoying. Considering your options heading out to Narita, I would just stick with NH for it being an non-stop. Unless you enjoy flying UA

More on the food, you can't expect much from the sashimi and fish quality from the U.S.
I don't drink so I have no idea of quality on those.

I flew to Asia on NH 3 weeks ago. Went to Europe on LH and back to the states on LH.
LH is much more spacious.


Business vs First?
I flew both and I feel ANA surpasses it's competitors in J but in F I felt they were an little behind as the seat was very small and the bathroom was very small. I think if you can get an single seat on an window than go with J. Food is almost identical.
