Even people who DO drive should avoid driving in Boston whenever possible. It's a double-edged sword, with TERRIBLE infrastructure combined with a population that considers a red light only a suggestion.

I'm a BIG fan of the Freedom Trail, but I also really like history. Not everyone's cup of tea.

The North End is always good for a good italian meal.

Faneuil Hall is always a fun place for eating. Lots of different types of food.

Boston Common is also nice, although it can get pretty cold with the wind whipping through there during November.
