Damaged luggage - worth complaint?
Would welcome your opinion. Just flew Sao Paulo/ London/ Vienna - all the way by British Airways. Very pleasant in all aspects except my checked in bag had the lock obviously cut off and removed with something like pliers, for the zip holders are also damaged. Items in the suitcase were intact and nothing removed but the bag cannot be locked ever. As its brand new I am rather sorry about the damage. Is there a rule that you should not lock bags that pass through Heathrow? Is it worth complaining to BA or should I just let it go. Would welcome input from the forum.
