Moondog is correct - only Spring is a 'true' LCC. Expect the same as you would with Ryaniar... tight legroom, no meal included, check your baggage entitlements and arrival times (some arrivals into Shanghai can be very late at night).

Fares on 'full service' carriers can often be competitive with a bit of advance planning.
