For me I would say no. Given the fact that a typical economy class flyer on long-hauls would only get 35 TPs per return trip the system is not generous at all.

(Well the game of flying is like studying maths: Once you get the theory then you would have no problem at all getting all the Avios, TPs and at least BAEC Silver and... Error fare Ex-OSL )
