It looks like there are a few easy runs over by Gornergrat, so that would be pretty nice if the weather is good. There are great views of the Matterhorn from there. There are also some other easy runs as well. You can get a half day ticket, so that you can get the experience a bit cheaper. Lift tickets tend to be a bit expensive in Switzerland. The folks that run the lifts have a nice website you can visit for more information on skiing.
