Thanks for letting us know This explains why I've had to call up about some refunds recently which took exceptionally longer than usual. It was no real bother though and not a complaint.

As a data point: When I called, there was no verbal mention of the £15 service fee for calling up to ask about the status of the cancellation/refund though, and no such fee was added for calling either (BA SCH). My cancellations were made about 2 weeks prior to calling up to check the status, and were for bookings made for within the 24 hour cooling off period. I was unable to cancel online.
