I have now funded two different citigold accounts in the past 2 months with a CC by faxing in the form. Both times I used a Citi AAdvantage Platinum Select and had it approved as a purchase. I have not lowered the CA limit on the card but always fund at a level well above the CA limit. Charges have posted a couple of days after faxing in the form.
Just wondering, because on the form to fax in to fund with CC, nowhere does it ask for your citigold account information, but rather just your CC info. How do they know whose checking account to fund simply with the CC holder's name? Deciding whether to fund with form and fax or to call instead, whatever is easier. Thanks
