Most the times I've had it taken away at security. Lost about 30-35 routers that way.
I'm not surprised to hear this at all. I have had numerous security related delays when traveling with certain type of electronics - usually NAS, certain types of router/switch gear, but the biggest delays are almost always caused when I have something like this in my carry-on.
