More irritating was flying out of Copenhagen this afternoon back to Heathrow. Here, the business class and golds were boarded first, and then the back rows of economy on the grounds that it was a more efficient way of boarding, meaning that silver at the front of the plane were boarded pretty much last, meaning a huge wait, and pretty much no overhead space. Please tell me this particular bright idea isn't going to spread!
Are you sure you didn't simply miss the announcement for Silver? In your position I would have simply gone on board once they strated boarding by seat row number. I am sure you must have simply missed it. Otherwise what you describe is a farce of biblical proportions.
