A couple of times recently I've noticed a change in the way boarding is done. Flying out of Heathrow on a European flight, business class and golds were called first, and then silver and bronze. I suppose I can't really complain, (though I do admit to feeling a bit grumpy), but I would be interested to know if this is one gate agents initiative or if I can look forward to this from now on.

More irritating was flying out of Copenhagen this afternoon back to Heathrow. Here, the business class and golds were boarded first, and then the back rows of economy on the grounds that it was a more efficient way of boarding, meaning that silver at the front of the plane were boarded pretty much last, meaning a huge wait, and pretty much no overhead space. Please tell me this particular bright idea isn't going to spread!
